Yes, it's snuck up on us again, just like it does every week. There will be work weasels in our near futures. There will be coffee in our immediate futures.
I think that I forgot to water the plants over the weekend, damn it, so I guess I'll do that shortly.

My boss at the housing company was a total moron. He didn't realize that all the chaos that went on was 100% his doing. Of course, that was my job, to be to blame for his shit.
The man who ran the stimulus work was a freaking genius, and his shit ran like a Swiss watch. He was totally focused and completely solution-oriented. I try to mimic his style in my work.
The boss I have now is twice as big as I am and kinda afraid of me . . . like he knows I could do his job . . . better. They'll all named Jeff. What are the chances???

I take them to the non-profit spay-n-neuter center. They seem to live longer and are happier that way.

Ours were always pretty feral...
They would tolerate you, but reaching out to touch them could result in harm and injury. The did a real good job of keeping the scorpions in check.

The neighbor's orange cat spends all his time hanging out in my back yard. I tell him to go home and to live at his house, but he doesn't.
Two vermin sightings: a tree rat in the yard next door, and a fucking possum just strolling up the alley like a taxpayer and under-informed voter.

I didn't trust the alarm snooze this morning, for some reason, so I got myself up after 4 minutes. It's some cooler this morning. The birds sound happy, the cat is tended to, and I have coffee. I also have work today.
Speaking of work, it seems there may/will be more shake-up, this time at the GM post. More will be disclosed this Friday, so rumor has it. So I'm ratcheting up my job looking activities this week in an effort not to get fooled again - or, in this case, the first time.
Fucking wankers!!!
