Flaunting the Fitness

This morning’s run was magical with the clouds of the sky burning in the rising sun. Running in the morning after work leaves the rest of my day for studying for finals.

The gaiters I was able to find are pretty simple fleece ones with a drawstring top, but they have been working great.

I've always tried to stay in shape but as I aged, and as each decade passed, I got a bit heavier. When I was 56 years old my weight maxed out at 200 lbs. I'm not tall so that was about 50 lbs over weight. I got on WW and lost those 50 lbs. The first picture is me at 58 (after I lost the weight) the second picture is me at 70. I've been able to keep the weight off. I swim, jog, play a team sport, and do some weights so I try to stay active. Not too bad for an old guy.
