Where pleasure wants to rush in to fill the space
Between two beating hearts,
Held captive by a pause of pulsing breaths
Twitching fingers and fluttering eyelids.
That moment is eternal,
And temporal and visceral and spiritual,
And fleeting, but not forgotten
Until lips meet,
Breaths join,
And everything around us combusts.

It’s time for a Tom Tapit appreciation post. I’m still waiting for him to take commissions again (I’m sure he’s tired of me asking )

But I love his art for a multitude of reasons.
While a lot of his images are explicit (which isn’t usually my style) all of them hold some form of tenderness. Even when those who are looking and who don’t share those same tastes struggle to find it.

This is a print I own of his, among many, but this is my favorite. I could tell you where I find tenderness here but why spoil the fun?
