One of Trump's favorite campaign tactics is trolling the Dems. He wants to keep them provoked and angry, instead of thinking rationally about his appeal to swing voters. But eight years is a long time to troll an entire party. Aside from the usual shouters, he may get just an eyeroll, don't drop the soap, etc. And they may not be worth the trolling work this time. He may need a new act to run against RFK. If he adapts and creates a new act that works, then that would be some mental fitness.
Another of his favorite tactics that he has used for decades is make people underestimate him. That sounds like it is working better than ever. But copying the other guy's senility would be an odd choice.Ironically the overwhelming vast majority of Trump voters don't listen to a thing Trump says. If they did they'd have to pause and critically reflect on why they are voting for someone with obvious alzheimers and dementia who can't get through one speech without massive and protracted slurring, word salad, sweating, tangential rambling and paranoia.

I am no supporter of the orange dictator but until he is found guilty of engaging in an insurrection, he is still technically eligible. If the Supreme Court upholds the CO ruling of his eligibility then we have something. That's the point; no, according to the Constitution he is NOT eligible. Not according to the 14th amendment, section 3:
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
This was written with the express purpose to prevent someone like Trump from ever holding public elected office in the United States government, after being responsible for what he did.
It's pretty clear as written. There really isn't much room for debate. According to the Constitution, Trump committed an act of insurrection and rebellion. Ergo, he is not eligable to hold office.
1. Trump doesn't have any appeal to swing voters, which is why he's never won the popular vote. One of Trump's favorite campaign tactics is trolling the Dems. He wants to keep them provoked and angry, instead of thinking rationally about his appeal to swing voters.
He’ll win the popular vote this time. Compared to Biden Trump is a great planner. Even people with IQs under 90 can see the destruction Biden leaves in his wake.1. Trump doesn't have any appeal to swing voters, which is why he's never won the popular vote.
2. Thinking rationally about Trump and being "provoked and angry" are not mutually exclusive...in fact, the former will inspire the latter in anyone with an IQ above 90 or so.
3. He doesn't have tactics. That would require planning, and Trump doesn't plan, he reacts.
lol, you're getting delusional. He’ll win the popular vote this time. Compared to Biden Trump is a great planner. Even people with IQs under 90 can see the destruction Biden leaves in his wake.

Well to be fair, they did describe a large portion of Trump supporters - as well as themselves - people with an IQ under 90.
That's exactly what the likes of you were saying this time in 2020.He’ll win the popular vote this time. Compared to Biden Trump is a great planner. Even people with IQs under 90 can see the destruction Biden leaves in his wake.
No. Hell no.Qualifications for the Presidency are light in the Constitution. On character, there are none at all. Trump met them the first time he ran. It appears uncertain whether he exhibits the traits that mark a good presidency the second time, although his MAGA crowd cheers for him. Is he really 'that' well qualified to run again? Your thoughts?

The above source is a compelling reflection by a former Republican supporter of Trump. Jim Young is a retired senior banking executive and community leader in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. These are some of his words from the article:
“… I recently read "Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning" by former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo. The book details her work as a senior leader in the investigation of the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol.
“I was surprised by the impact the book has had on my thinking about Trump’s role in attempting to overturn the results of the election and the incitement of the Jan. 6 mob attack on the Capitol.
“After reading Cheney's book, I was inspired to read the executive summary of the official finding of the Jan. 6 Select Committee. I also have read the indictment filed by the Justice Department against Trump.
“All three documents are clear, well-documented, and tell a consistent story.”
Jim Young, a former loyal supporter of Trump, has realized Trump for what he is – not a good candidate for the Presidency. Please read the book, evaluate it, and see if you reach the same conclusion before you vote in the next presidential election.
