Cold & wet is definitely worse than cold & dry. Our wet period went over, now back to dry as the northern jet stream moved back over Scandinavia.

I need to still take care of couple of errands, so definitely having some hot chocolate later. Or mulled wine. (24th is the most celebrated day here, we always tend to celebrate on the eve, so today it is crazy out there...)

We have 2-3 months when it could be possible. And even then not all the time. Our summer is 15-30C. Note the lower end of the spectrum... Some summers there are only a few days over 25C which we count as heat here.

I do know from a friend that they do ensure there are heaters around.
