Since the Republican's don't have a plan for health care, let me give them a clue; pick the one that works. The one that Trump himself said works while on the campaign trail... the one that gives access and care to every single american, and that will make the party loved and respected for generations to come.

Universal health care.

It's the only answer to the health care mess that we're in. We tried the old republican plan already (the ACA was Gingrich's plan in the 90s when fighting against universal health care). We know that it's got way too many problems, and it doesn't cover enough people, AND it's too expensive. However, there's no alternative.

There is not market-based solution to this problem. I know that this will pain the pie-in-the-sky libertarians, who believe that the free-market can fix everything, but the free market is why we're at where we're at. The market wants to make money. The goal of the market isn't the health and the welfare of a populace.

Universal health care is the only move the Republicans can make that would become bi-partisan, that would fix the health care issues, and that would regain the american people's trust in a broken and fractured party.

It would be a huge win for the Republicans, and they could make it happen.

All they have to do is follow the Heritage Foundation's plan which was set out almost 20 years ago. They're the ones who said people should be forced to hand over their money to a private company for no reason, or have the government reach into their bank account and forcibly extract it.

Not sure why they don't follow that conservative organization's path. It's all laid out. Even Mitt Romney did it. That they had an aneurism when Obama did it is very confusing.

Ironically, the most vocal opponents to single payer, here and in Congress, are on Medicare.

We'll get there eventually, as soon as the angry old white demographic departs.

We have the same angry old white demographics. It's the monied interest that bribe Congressmen to block UHC.

We'll get there eventually, as soon as the angry old white demographic departs.

The problem is that carefully gerrymandered congressional districts over the past decade has extended the influence of the aging white bitter-clingers far beyond their demographic.

Yep, you can sell it to stupid snowflakes as soon as those who understand the consequences of Socialism are gone.

Lots of snowflakes in Canada and a bit more socialism then down south. We do alright.

So you're going to be tearing up your medicaid and medicare checks along with your social security payments too, amirite?!?

Universal health care.

It's the only answer to the health care mess that we're in.

It would be nice, and it's an answer to the social mess not the economic one.

Economically the HC mess we have is because greedy fuckers in government can't ever set their greed aside and do a single solitary bit of legislating without turning it into a total butt fuck of the working class.

I know that this will pain the pie-in-the-sky libertarians, who believe that the free-market can fix everything, but the free market is why we're at where we're at.

Mmmmm no it's why we were where we were at back in 66', but the train really went off the rails in 86' when Ol' Ronnie made ER's a single payer service room with no way to fund it and it's been a running with scissors level of cluster fuck ever since.

Good to know you never drive on public roads.....or used electricity you didn't generate yourself or any other public service or infrastructure.

Not all socialism is bad.

Oh and the best reason (R)'s should push for UHC?

It will effectively nuke the DNC.

Absolutely cut their fucking heads off....they won't have a carrot to keep dangling out in front of the public anymore and the (R)'s would be the party of the working class/poor.

It would by all measures of Justice Democrat/Socialist logic make the DNC the bad guys and the GOP the party of the people.

So long as we get single-payer, I don't care whose name is on it.

Or how much it costs as long as it's the (D)'s doing the fucking of the working class right KO?

Tell us how great miracle from Dear Leader ACA was for the umpteen thousandth time.

You do care because you're a (D) fanatic and would go into full denial of reality because (R)'s at that point would be delivering on (D) promises that were not just broken but outright blatant lies. ;)

Far less in taxes than the health insurers now collect in premiums, I have no doubt.

That doesn't have shit to do with the fact that you don't care about cost as long as it's (D) who is fucking the working class for it. :)

Nice deflection off topic though.

The Republican's have had 7 years to put together a health care plan that would benefit ALL Americans. The AHCA is not that plan.

Two choices..

1. Leave ObamaCare as is & move on.

2. Take a long, hard look at Bernie's Medicare for all plan.

If the present Congress does that, it had better provide thorough coverage for injuries caused by flying pigs and falling pig feces. But at least the new Infernal Ice Age might mitigate global warming.

So long as we get single-payer, I don't care whose name is on it.

Don't let the flying pigs hit you in the ass, Counselor.

Excuse me, but I just said:

Right, and that's got nothing to do with the fact that you support fucking the working class.

Unless you're willing to admit UHC is in fact fucking the working class??

Right, and that's got nothing to do with the fact that you support fucking the working class.

Well, not as a class; some few of them, perhaps, and one at a time, but that's neither here nor there.

Unless you're willing to admit UHC is in fact fucking the working class??

No, it has worked out well for the working class and everybody else wherever it has been tried.

LOL....sound a little on the line about that one hua?

Figured.

No, it has worked out well for the working class and everybody else wherever it has been tried.

The working poor for sure, still a butt fuck for everyone else.
