It was so cold though, I think I must've shivered off a couple hundred calories! I never knew it was possible for, well, certain areas, to physically hurt from being so hard in the cold!

Thursday - run

Friday - run abs

Saturday - relaxed, shopped, hung out and drank coffee

Sunday - getting around to it. - (runs and abs)

Have you thought about an "event"?

Getting into this kind of late in the game. Have you thought about entering a 5k run or something like that to aim for? Having a goal like that might add some incentive. Once you've participated in one, then you can try to improve your time.

Kay started walking/jogging a couple of years ago as a weight loss technique, but also used the Weightwatchers point system. She had great success. I've always been a runner and now that I've hit my early 50s, find that it really helps me maintain.

I'd never even considered a marthon type run. I'm not that fast. It's something I'll have to consider - not sure I have the self-confidence right now. Maybe in a few months. Interesting idea, though. ( I'm such a goal orientated person). Thanks for the idea, Steve.

Hello lovely people, I went to the gym today and worked very very hard to pay for the not-going in recent weeks!

Plus we went shopping, so FINALLY have some decent healthy food in the house. Yum.

tricks is vaguely unhealthy. I'm drinking wine (a nice lice blush) and going to eat bbq chicken. I snowed all day here and I feel like eating summer food. Wishful think? The only good thing is that I have a soccer game tonight at 11:30pm. Why do they do that so late?

Soccer? Uuuuhhh...*shudders*...brings back horrible memories Phys. Ed. at school!

I'm using a glute press weight machine for ass, but as you don't go to a gym, get something you can use as dumbells (dumbells, for instance! Or full cartons of milk) and do lunges.

I'm sure Bruce will have some ideas on that one....
