A booth in the middle of nowhere

Thanks for the tips on non human writing.
It's sometimes hard to get good information, when you're reading in another language.
Well, feel free to ask any time...For myself I try to create something new...I've studied a lot of mythologies and learned a lot about various monsters, which certainly helps...But in this case I just started with the basic concept of needing an old and a young vampire acting in conjunction to create a new vamp...Well, that premise sort of took off in my mind and changed the vampires from your normal bloodsuckers to the eastern concept who steal a person's Chi...Somewhere I realized they were psychic vampires...

I have one more chapter to write. It was a tough negotiation, but they relented when I agreed that I would use them in another story.
I think I made the same promise to Kat, Chris and Daphne... LoL ...

And welcome to the thread Misty! You don't have to fear TMI here, or at least with me...I don't get embarassed or upset easily...

Misty Morning has a post a few back that simply says 'deleted'. Just wondering what that was about. It's post #174 on the thread.

I know what you mean. This time of year can get downright hectic. I know it does for me..

I would say it's not the time of year, but today certainly was...I had to go out shopping for pressents...But otherwise it's just been hectic trying to find some time online between the wife needing to go places (she doesn't like to go into public alone), taking over the computer, and my own errands and appointments...*sigh*...

I'm just a little tired, and kinda lonely at the moment...she's at work so I won't get to see her at all today...

That's a bummer. My wife and I used to have differing work schedules, when we were working, that is. And it's not much fun saying 'hello, goodbye' in the same breath.

Tell me about it...We have the same days off so four out of the remaining five days a week we see each other litterally about that long, and soon (when her store mores their schedule yet again) we won't even see each other that much since I'll be off to work before they get out...

Damn, that sucks.
But, it's still better than no partner at all.

What's 'work'? That's a new word for me. ;)
Hey, no comments from the retired peanut gallery :p

So what do you do Tulip?
Works been constant for me...Haven't written much in the past couple of days...I was fulfilling a promise to my muse...I promised her I'd pick up A Stroke of Midnight the moment I could and read it if she just let me finish my first novel...well, I finally found it so I've been busy reading! :D

And all the modern reading I've been doing has been inspiring me to get back to my non-erotic novel...

You write non-erotic novels? What's wrong with you, BT?

And DL, in my neck of the woods we call the peanut gallery the gobber pea gallery. It's the same animal, and it's not a nut at all. It's actually in the legume family, with peas, beans, and lintles.

Dunno about BT but I started out with non-erotic novels...Although that might be part of the problem I've had with them...They're supposed to have an aspect of erotic in them and I never knew it before I discovered my genre

A gobber pea is a legume? Never heard of 'em before...What part o' the world ou from again? I'm up here in New England where we just had our first snow last night...

peanut=goober pea=subset of legume. Not many here still call it a goober pea, but it was so called during the yankee invasion. I'm in Georgia.

Well, I'm pretty much a die hard Yank meself...Though I do know where 'R's go in a word...(Bit o' New England dialect humor)

Oh, and I got a chance to read your Blog, very cool!

I'm rather ambivalent. Spent a lot of years in a lot of different places.

Well, I've lived in a number of places, but all in the Northeast US (PA on up)...And mostly I just feel connected to New England...it's my home... :)

It's a beautiful part of the country. We drove through years ago on the way to Bangor.
