A booth in the middle of nowhere

It's a beautiful part of the country. We drove through years ago on the way to Bangor.

We're actually only a few hours outside of Bangor...If you drove up95 to get there then you passed within 5 minutes of my very toll plaza...

Our trip up that way was in 2001. And it would be a transport problem to get a horse from north FL to Maine.

I'd buy it if I had a place to keep one. But I'd have to board it, and that gets expensive around here.

Way back then? I wasn't even working for the state...but I was living in this area...And actually probably working about 5 minutes from qhere you drove by...

Agreed...Although the person who would be able to buy it (if it's a Paso) would probably be able to go down and get it...She's got a trailor as she's a Paso breeder...

Wow! Well, Sunday I slept for about 10 hours and then felt compelled to cuddle for a couple of hours with my wife...I would have forgone even checking email and myspace but she insisted as she had left me a message on my myspace page...
Yesterday I slept for 8 hours and barely woke up in time for my counseling appointment...By the time I got home I had enough time, barely, to check everything else, but I knew Lit would take to long, and I can't just start checking lit but not read everything

So today I'm on for a while

Not much been going on here...I've been reading too much Laurel K. recently so I haven't been writing much at night
However I've finally started to type up a half finished manuscript I'd been writing with pen and paper...It's modern, supernatural, non-erotic...Unfortunately I felt compelled to write the last third of it first, and the begining is coming along a lot slower for it...sigh...*grumbles about bizzare and finicky muses*

I'm happy to be able to spend some time on lit today!

My muse has been a pain recently...She torments me with loads of fun and interesting erotica for almost a year then dries up on me...Now she seems to want me to finish my second novel before she lets me have anything else, but then she inspires me to type up an older unfinished story in the middle of my writing...So I have 80+ pages of writen word to type up, before I can finish my novel, before I can get on to other things...and that assumes she won't drag me back into the unfinished novel again, or worse, into the third Cassidy installment...*sigh*...

Anyone having more luck with their Muses?

That's good! I think mine's taking revenge for not picking up "Stroke of Midnight" somewhere as soon as I finished my first novel...I got it the moment it came out in paperback...I hadn't seen it prior to that even in Hardcover...And I thought I might have made it up to her by picking up Mistrall's Kiss on Tuesday when it came out hardcover, but apparently not...*sigh*...

It might be the time of year...certainly not pressents or cooking or whatnot as all of that's taken care of...But because my wife works retail, it's meant that she's working much more this time of year, so more of my time is spent with her otherwise...And just been sleeping in a lot more than usual...it's weird...

hey, nice and cozy pace you got here. ^_^

My muse is being difficult, probably because the poor thing's being drawn and quartered. Wal keeps asking me about a new plotline for the girls. I love them and all, but I feel that it would be healthy for me to write about others as well.

Now, my muse has given me two interesting story ideas that would feature new characters. The problem is that they are both serious romance stories, and I want to write something more humorous and upbeat to make up for the seriousness of "Bound". But nothing like that is coming to me. So I'm in Author's limbo right now, and it's test of wills between me and my muse. Will she give up and give me something light-hearted, or will I break down and write with the ideas she's provided? Tune in next week, same Bat-time, same Bat-channel!
