Is there a way to find the lowest rated story in a category?

I’ve got plenty of other story ideas to work on, but I have recently had a thought.

Is there a way to search for the lowest rated story in a category? If there is I want to (eventually) find a “bad” story written by a one hit wonder twenty-ish years ago and use that as a story spark to write a new story.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Try searching for "a" in story text and titles, sorted by rating in ascending order, e.g.,

You'll have to scroll past over multiple pages of stories with no ratings at all. Also, sometimes stories are unpopular for reasons in addition to quality. Eight of the ten lowest-ranked stories in Group Sex are by this one very prolific black Canadian "straight-but-curious" Muslim guy. I don't think all that highly of his prose or plotting, but is he really the worst one there is, or is he just catching a whole bunch of bigotry?

The lowest rated story in the First Time category is Hot Tempered Broad in This Manse World, by @ts735b. (I feel obligated to @ them, just in case, but this 12-year-old story is their only one, so I'm not too worried.) Here's the first sentence of it:

Prior to shifting gears to second (among the gritty streets of this urban area known as the city of angels), an automatic reflex found me to rev the engine full throttle in reverse (nearly jamming the gear shift in the process), and steer the wheel (of my old battered 1995 Subaru Legacy) while peering backward all the while toward a waif like woman advertising sex in this most dangerous, rundown gruesome alleyway in a Los Angeles ghetto!

So goes 1,200 words about a 73-year-old man's threesome with two prostitutes, as best as I can tell. The first sentence that doesn't end in an exclamation mark is the 15th. Skimming it, it makes H.P. Lovecraft look like Ernest Hemingway. This is well into inimitable, Plan 9 from Outer Space, so-bad-it's-good territory. You want to try to use this to spark something conventionally good, I wish you luck.

I know some people grumble about the number of stories he posts (he's the most prolific author on his site) and I suspect some of the downvoting is on that account rather than on just of the merits of the stories. Which are generally not my thing but I don't think they're the worst on the site by a long shot.
