If just one person reaches out to you and says you made them feel something, that’s precious, especially if that something is along the lines of: “I’m not alone” or “that brought me some comfort”
I totally agree. If you can touch just one reader, in a positive way, and they take the time to comment, it makes all the hours, days, weeks of putting together a story all worth the effort. IMHO.
That it clears my head and helps me work through whatever is causing turmoil in my brain. For me, writing is very therapeutic, at least when I am writing poetry.
