I guess I'm too annoying to put up with for long; they're sending me home some time today. It apparently was *minor,* with few lasting effects, except pretty much forcing me to give up those last few cigarettes I was unwilling to surrender. Well, better to give them up than breathing, I guess ;)

Yay! Though I am grateful for them, I hate being at hospitals for any reason. I much prefer resting and healing at home. Please continue taking good care SW! :)

Excellent news - glad that things are improving.

Now you'll have to add "surrender" to your vocabulary. Maybe advertise on BDSM personals for a tobacco Dom?

Thank you, all, for your good wishes and all the positive vibes I could feel flowing my way. After stopping to pick up a few (remarkably and surprisingly inexpensive) prescriptions at the local pharmacy, pass one of the foster kittens off to an adopter, and chow down on some Mickey D's, we actually stopped at the casino for an hour or so (hey! it's on the way!) just cuz I wanted to...

Then by the time we got back to the house, I was ready for a quick lil nap (30 minutes or so), and then up to pop in here and let everyone know the news. I have to admit that typing is a little more difficult; my left hand is not completely up to par at answering my brain's commands, though the strength of hand and fingers is certainly acceptable. I think once I get just a little practice in, my typing should be back pretty much to normal. It's noticeably improved in just the time it's taken to type this.

Again... thank you all very very much for all the good thoughts and (im?)moral support. It is and was greatly needed and greatly appreciated. :rose:

Sir Winston, I only just saw this thread, but I wanted to let you know I'm glad you're home again and that you are well. I've been lurking mostly on here and have enjoyed your posts, so I'm glad to know we'll be seeing more of them. :D
