"On the Job" Story Event 2024

OK! Wrapped it up last night! 8.3K words of a fun romp. What a bunch of randy buggers!

Shame to have to wait until April 16 to submit. ;)

If I write a superhero story where they run around the city fighting a villain (and having sex) does the entire city count as their place of work? There are copious mentions of how this is a job and they hate it (until they find a heretofore unknown perk at the end of the story...)

I assume a farm would classify as a workplace? And the farm owners as employers?

Currently planning to finish writing "Bob Brothers, Appliance Repairman," about a plumber who finally receives a non-prank call about a woman stuck in her washing machine.

Description:

"On the Job" 2024

It's one of the most common fantasies in the world. You see someone sharply dressed, diligently performing a task with the utmost professionalism. Maybe it's your boss or co-worker. Or maybe it's the person serving you.

But of course, sex is always in the back of your mind.

With "On the Job," right here on Literotica, these themes will be explored in all their beautiful glory.

Because who doesn't desire sex in the workplace?

Guidelines:

- The ENTIRE story must happen at a place of employment
- At least one character must be an employee
- Doesn't have to be one scene. Make as many scenes as you want.
- Examples include; a retail business, a professor at college, an airline employee at the airport or airplane, a hotel attendant, and of course an office worker. etc...

Date:

The posting period is between April 16 - April 23

Final list to be posted on April 25, Thursday

Be well everyone and I hope you get something from expanding and working your creativity.
Taking a comp vacation.

Sorry.

Got an idea bubbling along very nicely for this one...I like this theme very much.

I'm probably not going to get it done in time again this year. A nice little 10K word story is currently at 24K and rising, and it's not going to let me go until it's done with me, after which I need to work on Geek Pride, which is also probably going to balloon. Next year, though! Next year!

Something to be said for 750 worders. I kinda miss them.

I wasn't going to enter this because
1. I had so many irons in the fire and
2. I just couldn't come up with something that I wanted to write and
3. I just didn't have the time for it even though I wrote an entire 35,000 word chapter #8 in less time than it took Laurel to post my chapter #7 (a LOT less time)
4. I couldn't dream of a job I wanted to explore.

Then @Rustyoznail said "Library" and my brain went "Ook!" and reasons 1 thru 4 fell away.

Hang on folks, we're headed back to the Discworld! See you at the finish line.

Just been here twiddling my thumbs... for three months... standing by for the upload date. Inspiration on this one struck hard and early as I already had an ideal framework in place.

I did need to revisit the story a few times since it was intended to fit into the Barstow timeline, and I've been busy with other installments which could have changed plot details. I think I'm safe now, so bring on April 16.

I ended up thinking of another story (sort of) that I can write up quick and put in Non-Erotic. Back on, baby!

Oh, hmmm... one story (unrelated to this challenge) I'm working on includes a scene with two girls watching porn. I describe several trite porn scenarios, including, "a buxom actress dressed as a sexy librarian was trying to assist two muscle-bound college jocks in finding a particular book in the stacks". Maybe I could flesh out that idea a bit.

Welp, I wrote the whole damned thing this morning. Only 3,400 words, but still.
I'm up to 3200 and will probably double that. I'm so used to spinning big stories that a quickie like this is hard to transition into.
