I met Christine Jorgensen around 1967 or 1968. She was the 1st transgender woman I ever met. Over the years, I’ve known several transgender men and women as friends. At the time, I never thought of them in a sexual way. Probably because I was married (1969). I always looked at the trans women as women & not as a woman w a penis.Ok so I've just recently stumbled onto the whole shemale and trans female thing but found that after a few porns I have became intreaged by it and I've never actually seen a shemale or trans female in person but would like to and I also would like to chat with some on here and trade pics of trade videos cause I find it really hot to watch as they jack off and then see the cum shooting out from their cocks
Nobody's pretending someone can't call theirself a tranny, a shemale or a t-girl if that resonates with them. What is shameful about being a “shemale”? or a “t-girl”? If that resonates with you why not use it? Why let the people who hate define it?
Indeed. As far as my girlfriend is concerned the only acceptable terms to describe someone like her are transgender woman or simply trans or transgender. Woman will also do nicely.Nobody's pretending someone can't call theirself a tranny, a shemale or a t-girl if that resonates with them.
What we shouldn't be doing is labeling other people with any of those terms, including using them "generically" with no particular trans person in mind. If it "resonates with" someone who is not trans, that doesn't give them the right to refer to trans people with any of these labels, at least two of which are universally understood as slurs - even today.
I did read the rest of what you wrote about "reclaiming," I identify as queer too, but being called queer, no matter how well-intentioned, by a stranger on the internet, any stranger, queer or not, isn't welcome. Certain people who know me can call me that. A fetishist can't "reclaim" these slurs in service of his fetish, even if some of the girls he (hypothetically) meets were to use them, themselves.
Sounds wonderful to meI'm with you. Trans get me going. I'm almost 40 and have always only liked women but lately trans women get me off and I'm looking to make that fantasy reality.
I missed your message, hon, thanks for saying that. Transgender people can still be treated badly even in the west, and worse where I come from.First and foremost, we need to acknowledge that people are people, we are all human and we are a mix of gender, sexuality, desires, fear, and hope. As far as human nature, nothing is black and white, nothing in nature is. That's why labels are unhelpful. Treat people with dignity, no matter their gender, no matter how they dress, who they love or who they are attracted to.
Good for you!I haven't had a lot of real world experience to have a opinion...the few friends that are in the know about me refer to me as a tgirl or trans...I've been called 'Miss' most of my life. I'm not out in the streets shouting it out..I 'm just the girl next door...when someone passes me on the street and looks at me, they smile thinking cute girl,,,don't stop an stare because I stand out...
I agree, that hits it right on for me! Respect is foremost. I have a cousin who has transitioned into a woman, I treat her no less than any other woman I know. A lot of my family trashes her for doing it. Totally pisses me off, she's who she is, and she's happy!First and foremost, we need to acknowledge that people are people, we are all human and we are a mix of gender, sexuality, desires, fear, and hope. I'm glad to hear that, she deserves to be happy, it's her life to live. No one else should decide what is right for her.I agree, that hits it right on for me! Respect is foremost. In Europe, intimate experiences aren't preceded by lessons in grammar and semantics or negotiating pronouns - and, in America straight gay and bisexual couplings, threesomes, hot wives, foursomes, orgies and other recreational experiences just happened, without learned discussions and without anyone being called 'cis', which is fine in medical research circles but is an ugly ugly word in intimate situations. Gew even know what it means even if they're written prescriptions calling for bis in diem.Love this honest discussion!
I've been chastised for saying transvestite, might be an American thing.
Even sissy can be considered derogatory. As a sissy myself, I love the term.
Shemale, TV, TS, and sissy are common enough and accepted in Europe, usually. Xoxo
sorry Dolle; stick to your porn fantasies most of us are pretty decent upstanding ladies in our communities, and whereas we occasionally enjoy a little but of porn as much as the next guy or gal, no way am I jacking off for you, and I'm pretty sure 99% of other girls aren't either. By the way, "shemale" is considered a derogatory term by most trans ladies. I'm not the language police; I enjoy degradation play when appropriate, and with the right man; just thought you should know.Ok so I've just recently stumbled onto the whole shemale and trans female thing but found that after a few porns I have became intreaged by it and I've never actually seen a shemale or trans female in person but would like to and I also would like to chat with some on here and trade pics of trade videos cause I find it really hot to watch as they jack off and then see the cum shooting out from their cocks
I think it's mostly a pornography term though; trans ladies or trans girls is more polite. Although I do like a little degradation sometimesA litle knowledge is dangerous. 'Shemale' is NOT always a derogatory word, it really depends on how you use it.
l also use tgirl as shorthand, but not with insufferable boorsTrans girl <raises hand> I agree with all of this.
