I’m still blown away by @Elayne_Hawke pulling out “Prodigal Son” for Mustang. Either she googled it, or she goes deeper on Bruce than I do.I need CPR stat! Dirk didn't have a Bruce song for password.
Lol, I'm not telling my secrets lol. Actually was listening to the song earlier, the fact that it had the word mustang, ultimate favorite car, triggered the memory.I’m still blown away by @Elayne_Hawke pulling out “Prodigal Son” for Mustang. Yes, major. I like the mustang cars period but one in particular, 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429.So… are you a Mustang fan then? Old? New? All of them?
I saw a magazine do a compare of 5 or 6 amazing cars of the era, 70 LS6, some Hemi something or another, I think a Buick GS 455, etc. the 69 Boss 429 came out on top as the best all around car.Yes, major. I like the mustang cars period but one in particular, 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429.
Boss is definitely a very sweet car. Would literally love to get my hands on one, whether it was original or I had to put the time and effort to make it as original as I can.I saw a magazine do a compare of 5 or 6 amazing cars of the era, 70 LS6, some Hemi something or another, I think a Buick GS 455, etc. the 69 Boss 429 came out on top as the best all around car.
I love the 69 Fastback (sports roof) Mustangs too. My own ride is a 67 Mercury Cougar.
My first car was a 1971 Mustang Grande with a 351 Windsor and Hurst shifter. Perhaps not my ideal, but in the rural part of Michigan I lived in that was what was on the lot at the time. I loved it all the same.I saw a magazine do a compare of 5 or 6 amazing cars of the era, 70 LS6, some Hemi something or another, I think a Buick GS 455, etc. the 69 Boss 429 came out on top as the best all around car.

My first car was like a Mustang in that it was a Ford named after a horse. It was a 78 Pinto! My first car was a 1971 Mustang Grande with a 351 Windsor and Hurst shifter. Fast lanes and country roadsLife in the fast lane
I saw Al on tour last year. He still tells amazing stories, still sings beautiful at 78, and his opening/backing band, The Empty Pockets, were utterly charming.Meow, baby. Meow.
