A thought about incest

It seems that the most common misconception about incest is that it was molestation. The bad press and more vocal side is clearly the negative side, because the positive experiences people have had don't have a place to voice it's praises. Even here, where there are likely more open minded individuals, find a lot of negative comments.

In my extensive conversations with mostly women, but some men too, I have heard way more positive reflections about incest than negative ones.

Lucky brother! I've always thought about my younger sister, I began to act on it when we were younger, but I freaked out and stopped cause I thought it was wrong. One of my biggest regrets in life.

i actually asked my younger sister...she never replied either way so i never persued...but not from a lack of desire to do so

Yeah, it's a really frustrating feeling. I wouldn't even know how to approach her about it now without her freaking out and never taking to me again.

Gosh. I feel left out. Lol. All I have is a step mum and step sister to think about. So no law would be broken.
 
you have to realize that if you enter into a permanent relationship, you say goodbye to friends and remaining family. you move to a different part of the country and live a secret existence. we fortunately had little family left and weren't close to them, so it wasn't too hard on us.

Exactly. Most everything in the media focuses on the negative. Just like BDSM... You don't hear of local munches, or which celeb is a Domanatrix, but you hear of the wacko who has women tied up in his basement as is a NON "safe, sane, consensual" sexual sadist.

Pity, really.

I agree with you, but I think there are two different conversations here.....incest and molestation....often these incest fantasies are between daddy/daughter or mother/son which I completely agree is usually damaging to both parties, but then there's incest between two consenting people, which is completely different....
