I think that there are a couple reasons why men become  more bicurious:
1) Sex drive usually remains higher for men than women as we age
2) Opportunities of having sex with our wives, and/or other women generally diminishes and in many cases stops completely
3) In general, more men are actively looking for sex and are impatient
4) More men are available for casual sex without having a relationship
5) The desire to satisfy our sex drive leads men to seek other opportunities
6) Most men are willing to accept greater risk to satisfy our sex drive
7) Knowledge of all of the above makes men become more bicurious and more willing to act on that
