I have to agree, especially when a woman wears stockings. Not only do they look good on her when she's wearing a skirt, they look just as nice when the skirt comes off. And I love the thrill of exploring her legs while kissing or under the table at a restaurant and feeling the lacy tops of the stockings.

It's also a thrill to know that a woman wears them simply because they look and feel good and that they make her feel sexy, even of she isn't going to be showing them off to anyone later.

Stockings etc are incedibly sexy and say a lot about the person wearing them. Not really items you say are functional. It means just that bit more.

When I see a woman in stockings or pantyhose, it is more than sexy, it is telling me that this woman cares about herself, she adds a touch of class to whatever environment she may be in at the time.

Back in the day, a woman never thought it proper to be seen in public without her nylons. Today it seems to be a rarity.

When I see a woman in nylon i definitely take note. I make mental note to look out for them wearing hose in the future.
I have fond hose memories of all past lovers. Not so much of the one who didn't wear them.

I guess I'll be the dissenting voice ...

I agree that stockings add a touch of elegance to a woman's look, but they don't necessarily make me feel sexier. If anything, just the opposite. I happen to think my legs look better with bare skin, and owing to where I live and the fact that I'm part Latina, I don't have that "pasty-white-in-winter" problem. I haven't routinely worn pantyhose in a long time. Having my legs bare gives me a similar feeling to going without a bra ... I feel freer and more like a "natural woman", if you see what I mean.

As I get older, I become less and less concerned with "elegance" anyway, and tend to be less formal as time goes on. I wear less makeup than I did when I was younger, and I go bare-legged most of the time. I have vowed that I will never color my hair.

If I'm dressing up, then stockings are required, especially with a dress. But I'm happy to go without most of the time.

Being someone with a hosiery fetish it impacts everything for me LOL. PERSONALLY, I believe that hosiery accents a women's leg, the slight shimmer as the light catches her leg. The soft shading of her legs contour. Most celebrity women don't wear hose but when they go on talk shows they cover their legs with lotion or some kind of goo that does the same thing hosiery does. Reflect light and show off contour of her leg.

I understand some women feel it is just a clothing accessory and for some it is, but when you go out to a party or a restaurant tor even church and find a women in hose. Then watch the men around her, you will notice them looking a bit more at her than the women without. they might not be attracted to the hose but it get their notice and attention. Anyhow this is just my 2 cents! Love a women In hose!

I wear stockings 24/7 at least when I leave the house.
I only own one pair of jeans, the rest of my attire consists of short/med dresses in hose or stalkings, and knee high combat boots.

Or maxi dresses and my boots. I'm large, leaving me self conscious. It just helps to have the security of the nylons...

Turning 65 on Oct 2013 made me feel somewhat depressed. I thought that no one could find me sexually attractive but this thread gives me a glimmer of hope. Stocking vs Bare

There are times that a woman wearing stockings is super erotic for me. I guess it depends on her attitude and mannerisms, and maybe the way she is dressed at the time. Other times, bare legs and sandals drive me just as crazy.

Way back when I was 19 years old, I was in the military and was being driven crazy by a young female Sergeant. She was wearing the light blue blouse, dark blue skirt and black heels of the female Air Force uniform. Her stockings just seemed perfect! All day long, I watched as she walked up and down the hallway outside my office and was just going nuts with desire. She came into my office toward the end of the day to get some documents and we were alone, so I told her bluntly how she had just been driving me nuts simply walking up and down the hall. A knowing smile spread across her face and she said, "Well, that was the idea!" She then invited me to spend some time with her that evening at her place off base. After work, we rode together in her car to her apartment off base, where she changed out of her uniform into a pair of short shorts, white tank top and some thin sandals. I swear, her bare legs drove me crazier than her stockinged legs did!!! It turned out to be a night to remember, and we enjoyed many more nights together until she had to transfer to another base.
