Someone want to explain "Social Justice" to me?

Mob rule.

Just not the well-regulated kind...

If the Liberal elites were not all white they would be saying something like,

Whites have unfair advantages in this society.
Whites get better job and educational opportunities.
Whites benefit disproportionately from their self-centered system.

We need a special "White" tax to even the playing field and enable more minority programs...

A phrase with little if any meaning. There is either justice or there is not.

When your philosophy of government is based on groups, you must remember that your group can be a favored or disfavored group with equal ease and that neither status is ever permanent any more than the favors government solemnly promised to purchase your group loyalty.

Do your own research you lazy fuck.

I did, it's a meaningless construct. But others keep throwing the phrase around as if it has some sort of merit and/or meaning. I thought those that actually use the phrase might be able to bring some meaning to it.

I get it. You already know the answer, but you choose to bait others into providing their ideas so that you can tell them how wrong and stupid they are. Great:rolleyes:

Try to keep it brief.

Every Christian conservative can tell you exactly what social justice is, yet you're sitting there clueless? No of course you know what it is, you just want to play games.

In our case it's where the dregs of society are welcomed into the fold given a fur coat, a big cigar, and a credit card that used to belong to a productive person.

A_J's corollary #11, “The New Age Liberal defines a fair share of taxes as, ‘When you pay your taxes, you have no more money left than anyone else has.’

Pretty much my take on the situation as well.

We have known for many, many generations exactly what Social justice is and it is easily defined for what it is a morality based upon the idea that you must sacrifice yourself for the benefit of "society."

They become apt to take because they wish to spend and cannot do this easily; for their possessions soon run short. Thus they are forced to provide means from some other source. At the same time, because they care nothing for honor, they take recklessly and from any source.
Aristotle

"The state is that great fiction by which everyone tries to live at the expense of everyone else. ... there is only one remedy: time. People have to learn, through hard experience, the enormous disadvantage there is in plundering one another."
Frédéric Bastiat

"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it."
Frédéric Bastiat

Of course, to be properly managed an Egalitarian "society" is controlled by an Educated Oligarchy...

When under the pretext of fraternity, the legal code imposes mutual sacrifices on the citizens, human nature is not thereby abrogated. Everyone will then direct his efforts toward contributing little to, and taking much from, the common fund of sacrifices. Now, is it the most unfortunate who gains from this struggle? Certainly not, but rather the most influential and calculating.
Frédéric Bastiat

"The more communal enterprise extends, the more attention is drawn to the bad business results of nationalized and municipalized undertakings. It is impossible to miss the cause of the difficulty: a child could see where something was lacking. So that it cannot be said that this problem has not been tackled. But the way in which it has been tackled has been deplorably inadequate. Its organic connection with the essential nature of socialist enterprise has been regarded as merely a question of better selection of persons. It has not been realized that even exceptionally gifted men of high character cannot solve the problems created by socialist control of industry."
Ludwig Heinrich Elder von Mises

See my sig line for a brief description of yourself.

Why, does it talk about my asshole or cock?

Social Justice
means trying to change the conditions that lead to inequality in society. It means taking a look at what causes advantages and disadvantages for people and working to create a system that's more fair and better structured for individuals to reach their full potential. It means advancing human rights and wellbeing where they're being infringed upon and educating people as to how to maintain their human rights once they're obtained.

Does that work for you?

*chuckle*

We know the answer to this one...

It is popular today to blame capitalism for everything that displeases. Indeed, who is still aware of what he would have to forego if there were no "capitalism?" When great dreams do not come true, capitalism is charged immediately. This may be a proper procedure for party politics, but in Scientific discussion, it should be avoided.

A Critique of Interventionalism (1929)

Tell me what you don't understand on a word that is so self-explaining.

"Belief in strong social and economic mobility—that Americans can and do rise from humble origins to riches—has been called a "civil religion", "the bedrock upon which the American story has been anchored", and part of the American identity (the American Dream), celebrated in the lives of famous Americans such as Benjamin Franklin and Henry Ford, and in popular culture (from the books of Horatio Alger and Norman Vincent Peale to the song "Movin' on Up"). Opinion polls show this belief to be both stronger now in America than in years past, and stronger than in other developed countries. However, in recent years several large studies have found that vertical inter-generational mobility is lower, not higher, in America than in those countries." ( Wikipedia )

Because too many of their hip-hop children believe that education is selling out to the white man's world...

You cannot be a Cornball Brother!

Or as my teacher used to put it, "Look at all those lazy bucks laying around all day blaming the white man for all their problems. All they have to do is get a JOB! I did! You did!"
