What's with angel dreaming that cordy is confessing her love and who'se the girl with the waist length brown hair? I'm sooooo lost.

At the end of last season, Cordy and Angel were moving closer and closer to admitting their love for one another. Cordy and Angel arranged to meet but on the way Cordy got um...well, moved to the next dimension in her newly demonized life and Angel got dry-packed by Connor and sunk.

The chick with the waist-length dark hair is Fred. Angel found Fred when he and the others followed Cordelia to the home world of Lorne (the green guy with the horns). She was from LA originally, but had accidentally transported there and had been enslaved. They brought Fred back with them to LA, and she had a wee bit of a time adjusting back to Earth life. Now she's in love with Charles and he's in love with her and she seems to be doing fine. She's also a mathematician, which comes in handy on occassion.
