You know that was a joke right?I'm still a cunt
Im not reading people too goodI mean..
I'd obviously prefer not to have had to do it at all but if I want to access the right treatment I suppose a higher score is gonna help with that.
Though my post was more sarcastic than celebratory
It may or may not make you feel better, but a number of years ago I was asked to take a test which assessed things like sociability and how you interact with people. The possible score range was between 3 and 21. Somehow, I got 2.5.I just aced a test!
Granted it wasn't really a test but a questionnaire from the therapy team to assess potential Ptsd.
(to make sure I'm definitely going to receive the correct treatment)
A score over 38 would suggest trauma.
I got 59...
Yay me![]()

And yet I'm basically employed nowadays because I'm meant to have interpersonal skills, rather than because I'm meant to know stuff. This is one of many reasons why I now prefer interviewers who ask me my star sign to those who try to read the tea leaves in a Myers Briggs alphabet soup.
Being serious briefly, this is a way to get you support if you want it, rather than a way to limit or define who you are. And be proud of yourself for having the strength to find it.
Also depends on how much you've have to drinkThank you.
And tbh I'd be weirdly impressed with myself if I got an apparently impossible score. But that just might be me!
How do you assess sociability anyway? Surely it's not a "one size fits all" thing. I have different levels of sociability in one day depending on mood, energy levels and who I'm talking to. When my depression flares up I barely talk to anyone.
For what it's worth you definitely don't strike me as being unsociable. Rather you've learned what works for you in terms of when you give your time and who to and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Oh, breaking systems is fun for sureThank you.

Exactly this. Plus, different ways of appearing sociable work differently. It's easy to hop on Lit for a minute and post a few quick and perky comments here and there. But that isn't actually being sociable. How do you assess sociability anyway? Surely it's not a "one size fits all" thing. It can look as if I'm here lots and have all the time in the world. But actually, it's been four minutes. Which is enough to post here, but not enough for a proper conversation. It can be deceptive. For what it's worth you definitely don't strike me as being unsociable. You're still doing better than me.Oh, breaking systems is fun for sure

I love the sound of your garden plans Rosie. There is so much joy to be had from gardening. I know @lingus60 will agree. I often daydream of tending my own vegetable garden when I am no longer working long hours and can put all my energy and focus into being self-sufficient during the warmer months.Good morning and happy May Day!
Absolutely scorching here today. Got someone coming round shortly to give me a quote to do my garden. My hands just can't hack the mower anymore and my friends kid, who has been doing it for the last few years, is busy with GCSEs.
Then once it's looking nice again I have another friend - who's been going crazy with potting - that has lots of spare plants and she's gonna come help me get some things in the ground
So this isn't a euphemism?Got someone coming round shortly to give me a quote to do my garden.

Oh noI waited till our trip was done before planting out seeds in trays and blow-me-down if they ain't popped up already. I'm trying out sugar snaps this year too and have already set up the pigeon minefield.
On a mundane note, I'm expecting a meeting with HR at work to tell me where I can pee.
I'm jealous. I love the thunderThunder here now, and not the band
On account of you being transgender? That is no ones business but your own.I waited till our trip was done before planting out seeds in trays and blow-me-down if they ain't popped up already. I'm trying out sugar snaps this year too and have already set up the pigeon minefield.
