✨Highlights and Bombshells💥

Oh lol not me! But this was 🥰 woof

And this was satire lol 🫣 I really do miss writing 🫢
It was very convincing satire. Luckily, I did read the small print, so you didn't catch me out ;) . You certainly know how to write a persuasive bluff though. You so should have been a panelist on Call My Bluff. Your picture, meanwhile, is seriously seductive  .

Oh wow I actually know the answer for this!

In the late 90s/early 2000s, some mid-range hotels in North America were trying to cater to the growing “pet-friendly” travel trend.

They didn’t yet have kennels or in-room crates, so they put what they called “courtesy tethers” (basically fake knobs or short posts near the doorframe). Guests who needed accommodations were told they could clip or tie the leash there inside the room if they had to step out briefly.

It seemed harmless at first, but staff started reporting problems: startled pets bolting out the door during housekeeping, little paws getting injured, or guests coming back to find their very frazzled friend. It was a liability nightmare and the practice quietly faded out by 2010.

So if you see a random doorknob or hook in an older pet friendly hotel, that’s probably what it’s from. Even cat-people were writing letters about it at the time 🙄
this is satire 👀
I love this post from top to bottom.
