Pop Quiz!
Don’t worry, you don’t have to study for this one. Everybody likes a sex quiz and I found one that wasn’t one I’ve seen before, so I thought I’d share.

Sex Quiz

It tests 8 different areas and then gives you a graph that shows where you are on each spectrum of answers
.

Do you agree with the findings?

Not enough questions and I had one be repeated. But this probably tracks anyway.

But why?
Why is there a doorknob to nowhere on my hotel wall? Is this some quirky decorative trend? I’ve never seen this before.
very odd- maybe a hook to hang bags/jackets? Curious if all the rooms have it

…it’s been a busy week - I just got caught up on the pop quiz thread. Hope it’s alright I post mine.

I think it’s pretty accurate. I’m most attracted to feminine beauty, but will admit men can be sexy too. I often think about sex or sexy situations- and what is sexy and erotic to me can be a wide spectrum of things.
I’ll say that as I’ve matured, I discover more things that turn me on

But why?
Why is there a doorknob to nowhere on my hotel wall?
Oh wow I actually know the answer for this!

In the late 90s/early 2000s, some mid-range hotels in North America were trying to cater to the growing “pet-friendly” travel trend.

They didn’t yet have kennels or in-room crates, so they put what they called “courtesy tethers” (basically fake knobs or short posts near the doorframe). Guests who needed accommodations were told they could clip or tie the leash there inside the room if they had to step out briefly.

It seemed harmless at first, but staff started reporting problems: startled pets bolting out the door during housekeeping, little paws getting injured, or guests coming back to find their very frazzled friend. It was a liability nightmare and the practice quietly faded out by 2010.

So if you see a random doorknob or hook in an older pet friendly hotel, that’s probably what it’s from. Even cat-people were writing letters about it at the time 🙄
this is satire 👀

Secondly, wow! I did not know that and that makes total sense. Next time, my German shepherd is coming on this trip with me. 🐕
