If this was covered before, and I'm sure it was, I appologize. The search engine doesn't work when I use it.
I don't have very high self esteem but I appreciate myself enough to know what I will and won't accept. That being said, I try not to have a pity party though life has been really tough and depressing the past five years. You try to keep a chin up and keep living and trying to love.

Where does this lead me? Why do some people in relationships think one party is ther full time therapist? I understand low self esteem is often deep rooted and not easily overcome but if someone wants to love you, why not let them in? They bitch they can't find love but when it may have arrived, they ignore it. God forbid the other partner leaves them because of this. It's their fault! They weren't supportive enough. This frustrates me to no end!! Maybe the other party was tired of taking a backseat to the constant negative attitude. Doesn't that other person deserve acknowledgment?
In conclusion, I am not denying how hard self esteem issues are. Most people have very good reasons for them. Some are bullied without mercy, abused, bad parents etc...All I am saying is appreciate the ones that care, please. Just let someone know that they do matter, even in the blackest days.
