OK, I'm confused...

...but that's beside the point.

I've worked in many a restaurant and this is what I observed in one particular place I worked.

* Straight acting gay despise effeminate gays. I was told, "I'm gay, if I wanted to fuck a bitch I'd go straight."

* Effeminate gay-guy wasn't too keen on the straight-acting guy. Probably only reciprocating the bad attitude, but it wasn't fun being in the same room with the two of them.

* Both hated butch lesbians. Cute lesbians seemed OK, especially when sharing make-up tips with the effeminate guy, but the mystery remains.

* Lesbians and gays all hated bi's; "they should just admit they're really gay and just get over it."

I'm not saying this is the universal situation. I'm definitely not advocating any of the aforementioned views.

Just curious...

...which again is beside the point.

Any insights or was it just a really screwed up place to work?

Sounds like the rest of the world !!!!!!

Viva la Applebees?
or one of the dozens of like places.
But in responce to what you were really asking... people are people. Most people are ready to find other people to dislike or hate when they can find a reason to justify it.
Not to diss ALL gay men, but many gay bitches are so bitter from their life experience they are most ready to hate everyone, even themselves.
Take it as a bussboy spilled grain of salt. Some people are just assholes and they suck. Some people suck assholes and are nice to know. Thats just a part of being people and living with them.

You are misinformed by your own POV unless .... do you work in a red state? ;)

Gay guys, and maybe I live in an open country, love lesbians. Lesbians love gay guys, the "boys who like girls who like boys who like whomever" but there are always the prejudiced few that forget what PRIDE was ... and IS all about. Too bad for them.

to be honest, effeminate gay guys kinda piss me off, too. not all the time of course, but on occasion.

Uh huh, uh huh. I see. Let me ask you a question. On average, how many people would go there to eat out?
