It has been brought to my attention that this "limerick War" with Slick is hurting certain people.

Let me tell you it wasn't meant to.....these are limericks people....to make you laugh.

I've been told I have "problems"...well maybe I do....don't we all...I have never tried to hurt anyone here....


These limericks are fun to me because they test my brain....and as far as posting limericks to other people.....I will when they do. At Christmas I wrote Christmas songs about a lot of you and got 2 or 3 responses.

I for one have enjoyed all your limericks they are funny just as they were ment to be and i hope that you keep posting them the little limerick war that you and slick have going on is great I wish i could come up with limericks like you and slick do .

Wow... I'm sorry if I offended anyone with the limmerics. I believed this was an open thread. If anyone felt that we were hogging it, that wasn't intended.

I've decided to stop posting the limmerics for now, in the hope that the people offended will realise that they were written in jest and as a test of wit.

It would upset me if all these misunderstandings end up killing the one thread I really enjoyed being a part of.
