It's real enough. Some people get so into the porn that it takes over their life. They don't have sex or even want to. They ignore their spouses and kids. All they do and think about is watch porn and jerk off. Some people lose their jobs over it. Like any other addiction.
It's probably 99% men but I've heard it does happen to women sometimes.
