Those are great shots, Teacher! I'm still at a very early stage with my webcam (my apartment has lousy lighting), but it's fun, isn't it? It should really help your day go faster while you recover.

Teddy Bear

Teddy is a pound puppy. Poor little thing looked just like a teddy bear when we picked him out. He was dirty, full of burrs... Had no idea he was going to get so big. He is the only dog that came to the fence and told us (begged us) he was coming with us.

He is very afraid of boots, and (not my fault) black people. When I get dressed in the morning, and wear my boots, he will have nothing to do with me, some four years after becoming part of our family.

He is a gentle giant. He scares the hell out of strangers, repairmen. Yet I don't think he would hurt anyone unless they were hurting a memeber of the family. He adopted Pete the newest Tom. Pete was just a ball of fur when he 'followed' my daughter home one day. They are best buddies. It is a blast watching them wrestle with each other.

We were very lucky. I wish I could clone him, but sorry, he is one of a kind.

It sounds like you are truly an animal lover! I grew up with dogs in my life, and each one had such a unique and endearing way! I believe cats and dogs are here to take care of us (although we need to feed them!).

Thank you for sharing Teddy Bear's "tail" with us! He certainly found a good home to watch over.
