🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

Super rainy today. I might take a rest day. We shall see. If it lets up some I’ll go for a walk.

Update: I decided to jog and walk. It’s so humid I’m pretty sure I can just see the water hanging in the air.

Had an MRI of both hips done Wednesday evening.

I had a lot of anxiety about several things.

It all went smoothly. They finished about an hour early.

Waiting to hear about the results and treatment.

Now I’m anxious about that. Sheesh.

I can see how that would be very anxiety inducing. It sounds like you have a lot going on. You're handling them well, though. Just one thing at a time, one step at a time and you'll get through it. Sending positive vibes your way💫🍀 🙏

Happy Saturday to you! I hope everybody had a wonderful day! I got an hour in on the gravel bike, so after the recent rains it and I was thoroughly muddy. All in all huge fun!

Was going over my workout routine earlier. Realized it was finally time to split the routine up further into legs, back/core, arms/chest. I've found that the bird dog is what makes me sweat the most, more than working with weights. Still dealing with some sciatica and hoping that calms down soon. Added a few stretches for that. Overall, I try not to overdo the workouts given my age.

Had covid last month. It wasn't even a bad case- more like a flu for a couple weeks really. Since then, I been working hard at getting back to my former energy and lung capacity. I can't accept this being a new normal.

Did a hill workout on the bicycle tonight, which was really nice. I'm feeling more confident on being able to commute and get back into a bike based lifestyle.

I need to lose 15 pounds. I just do. I'd feel happier with how I look, my clothes would fit, and I would feel more confident. There. I said it. I've counted calories now for 3 days, and yesterday, I just blew it big time. So much of my life feels like it is out of my control. And after I finish this coffee, I'm going for a run.

I've been back in workout routine (and clean eating) routine for a few weeks now. Starting to notice a few changes which is always nice. I always gain a little weight in the summer and this year I noticed I had lost some muscle definition as well. Just glad to be back in my routine and feeling better overall.

Hang in there and remember being healthy is a journey and not an overnight process. We all have our ups and downs but if you remain positive and persistent you will reach your goals. I try not to count calories exactly but rather just have a good idea of how much I'm intaking and just making sure that I am in a calorie deficit. That way I don't feel bad if one day I go over my calorie goal.

I'm cycling a lot more right now, but I'm not sure it really counts as exceptional exercise, even going several times across the city over the weekend. But hey, it's something! And I'm comfortable in busy traffic now.

I am slowly grinding my way back to my pre-covid fitness, with 90 burpees in 8m10s today. My previous best was 100 in ~9m. I think, right now my target is 150 in <15m.

I surfed yesterday and today.
Still might lift today. Maybe.
But I’ve been doing a bunch of sandbag carries up the bleachers at a local football stadium. I love getting sweaty outside.
Keep hammering folks! I know it makes me feel better and I know it’ll make you feel better (especially when it’s over 😆) too. 💪🏻

Walked 6 miles today and 7 on Sunday. Im having a hip problem... but it might be the shoes? Down to my goal weight...and just want to maintain and add some upper body strength. I take pole dancing...and havent been to class in about 2 months. Hoping that will balance out the mileage.

Sorry to hear about the hip issue. Hope it resolves soon!
