🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

Tried a bike ride yesterday, got a flat tire for the third time. Such a bummer but at least my SO was able to come pick me up.
 
Been a bit since posting but I’m running just about every day. Including yesterday which was a hot hot mess. Blah I was gross afterwards. But the sweating let’s me know it’s working.
 
Gearing up for the gym, can't wait to get all hot and sweaty.
Getting back into the regular routine after vacation always is quite the tasking.
 
Stretching for my afternoon run. At least it doesn’t seem as hot out as it was yesterday.
 
The struggle continues. Hip pain has been getting worse. Really bothering my sleep.

Talked to the people at PT today. I might be overstretching to the point it’s making things worse.

I’m going to a different orthopedic group for a consult and maybe an MRI.

I'm off for a bit to recovery from surgery - it's a very weird feeling. I know it's good to take a break, but doing it not on my schedule is a very weird feeling.
 
Sorry to be so negative. Hip pain has really flared up. Barely slept last night.

Trying ice packs and Tylenol

If that doesn’t help, seeing the orthopedic PA Monday. Ortho Wednesday if needed.
 
Ugh, it was a crappy work week here, I am seriously off my workout routine, I'm going to try to kickstart it again tomorrow though with a good bikeride before it gets super sweltering out.
 
Started back w core and resistance exercises after a week break due to sciatica. Realized I need to recalibrate my workout again. Still walking 20+ miles per week.
 
Goal? Walk 30. Ride 30. Swim 30
Survive. Distance doesn’t matter
Depression will set in if I fail
 
I'm about to take an early lunch and go for a swim - I've been looking forward to it all morning!
 
This is the longest I’ve gone without a real workout in months. It’s an awful feeling.
 
Actually managed to get out at 6am, so much cooler after the heat wave broke yesterday. 4 miles in the legs for 7am, felt very relaxed. Great run

I’m appreciating the respite from the heat too. My run just now was much more enjoyable.
