🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

I’m appreciating the respite from the heat too. My run just now was much more enjoyable.

My app said 73 degrees this morning. Despite that not actually being cold felt like a different universe.

Would actually prefer to run in like 45-50 degree weather, going to have to wait a few months for that though

Going to the Ortho again tomorrow. Hopefully I can actually explain this properly and start toward permanent relief. 🤞

Actually starting to like the 6am workouts. Invigorating in the morning. What is happening to me???

My run today finally felt good. I didn’t feel overly tired. I probably could have gone longer but needed to get back to work.

I've been doing an entry level gym routine for a few months now, and the time has come to kick on if I want to keep making progress...which means a bigger time commitment and more effort in general.

So I just wanted to ask a general question: How do you prioritise your workout routine when you're busy (because everyone has busy lives from time to time) and how do you stay motivated?

I'm basically just looking for life hacks to steal

You have to commit to it even if you don’t feel up to it every time. You can do
Legs and shoulders
Chest and Tri
Back and Bi
On different days so that it doesn’t take as much time

Hey Y’all!!

Long time, no see!! I’ve been on vacation and now back to the real world. I hope you've all been doing well. Over vacation I was not good at all so I have some work to do.

In other news… have you all seen @PrettyLilPussy19 ’s July Challenge thread? It’s amazing. She gives us a challenge to do every day — I have not kept up. But it’s ok! It doesn’t matter. Anyway, today’s challenge is to tell two Litsters that you’re thankful for them. Well, I have all of you to say that to. Thank you, everyone who’s participated in this thread, for being supportive and inclusive and funny and wise and … well, you get the idea. So so appreciative for all of you. 🥰

Thanks for all you do SB 😊

It’s supposed to be hot day today so I’m out earlier on my run. It’s definitely warmer today than it has been. Hopefully you all get to go out and move about today. Get that blood flowing and sweat running.

Sweating is an awesome detox so push yourselves and celebrate the heat and sweat.

Hey Y’all

I love hearing about all your progress. So motivating!

I’m going to have to do some catching up but for now I’m dealing with Covid :-/. Two years of avoiding it, even when working in schools with hundreds of kids. I think I must have caught it at the airport. Oh well, at least it didn’t happen during the school year.

I’m staying in my room and so far the kids haven’t tested positive or exhibited any symptoms so I'm hoping to keep it that way.

Thanks for posting about your progress. It is helpful to me to stay in that mindset and I’m looking forward to when I can post some more positive updates too.

Oh no, @Love_Is_Blonde! I hope you recover quickly, and it is only mild.

I am still rebuilding my workouts from when I had my bout, but it's going okay. I'm back to burpees, and instead of doing 10 emom, I'm just trying to increase the number of consecutive ones. 70 today, going up in 5s. The aim is 100, then I'll think about where to go from there - two pushups per burpee, or try for 200, or try to increase my pace. No bad option, I'm just not sure what my preference is yet.

Thank you @AlpineFresco. On a Covid scale, I think I have a pretty mild case. But I still really don’t feel good so I’m just resting. I can tell I’m sick bc I’m not bored yet.

I like your plan! Maybe that’s something I can do while I’m sitting around—research some routines for when I’m up and about again.

Hope you feel better soon SB

It took at least 10 days to feel back after Covid.

back to riding daily as well as back to the gym.
Die Kondition war nach Covid total weg. Bei mir hat es 10 Wochen gedauert, bis ich wieder länger schwimmen und auf die Berge gehen konnte.

I’m glad you seem to be handling it week and I hope you recover quickly.

When I got it, it felt like a mild flu, chills ache a fever but it we felt winded for a week afterwards.

I put on a 20 pound ruck and did a two mile walk today. I was feeling it in my ankles and knees and realized that 4 months ago I was carrying that extra 20 pounds just wearing my clothes and walking around. I'm down 45 since Dec and feeling better every day.

Gratuliere!😬

Blah up since 4am so I decide to get dressed and go for a morning run at 4:45. The run was great. Not as hot and sweaty as mid day but I miss the sun. I honestly don’t mind the mid day grossness. It’s almost like the grosser I feel the more I feel like I worked out. Placebo effect ha
