🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

I ran, I walked, and even rode my bike for 15 minutes yesterday. And while I was over my calories, I wasn't crazy over. I'd like to blame the pizza for lunch but actually it was the wine after work that pushed me over.

But today is another day, and I really appreciate the kind words you all shared. Thank you!!!! :)

Walked 6 miles today and 7 on Sunday. Im having a hip problem... but it might be the shoes? Down to my goal weight...and just want to maintain and add some upper body strength. I take pole dancing...and havent been to class in about 2 months. Hoping that will balance out the mileage.
New shoes never hurt! I was having some hip and knee problems as I lost weight, my PT diagnosed it as hip strength issues, gave me some good stretches/strengthening exercises and it cleared both issues up super quickly. Good luck with the hips and great job on getting out and getting the miles in!

My next test is this Friday. I’m happy I was able to get it scheduled so quickly.

Apparently a very simple and quick process. I can drive myself back and forth. Max time is an hour

Fingers crossed the results are ready fast and the test reveals the problem so I can get this taken care of.

I’m down to 195. 14.5 % body fat. All the heart stats remain good.

Good news CrashD….

has anybody tried a app like Noom to lose weight?

Cardio time again. Jogged on the treadmill, 20 mins on the stair master and used the rowing machine for the first time in a while.

Loving spending time at the gym these days

If the rower was too much on your thighs and you need a rub down. ;)

I didn’t skip leg day either

I'm very lucky to live in a house literally a 30 second walk from a high-end gym. I let myself go during covid, but this week is week 8 in the gym and I've been consistent. Today was back and biceps, 4 sets of everything/ 8-12 reps, and got all my favourite workouts in of the 10 different workouts that I do - preacher curls, rowing machine, and lateral pulldowns. Also did my ab workouts and slowly tweaking my diet. 120 grams of protein currently per day is helping me see results fast.

I've used MyFitnessPal and LoseIt. I'm too cheap to try Noom. The first 2 apps are good for calorie counting and MyFitness has an active forum, etc. But neither really fulfill me or keep me motivated.

Thanks my work is offering noom. Wanted to ask if it’s worth it

Ok. Different diagnosis. Did an ultrasound , which seems to have finally pinned down the issue.

For the first time, it totally fits all my symptoms

Shouldn’t be hard to fix the problem.

Much less serious than a couple of previous problems.

The only problem is it will probably be a month before I can have the procedure.

I got my 100 6-count burpees, in 8m 44.45s, which is as fast as I've ever gone, so I can say my cardio is now fully recovered. Next target, 150 in under 15m.
I've still got some strength to recover, but that's getting there. Max pullups before was 7, I'm at almost 5, target is 10.
Grinding my way to where I want to be!

Working my ass off to get stronger before I start chemo. I lost a lot of strength recovering from surgery. The new recommendations for cancer fighting exercise is 300 min of vigorous exercise a week. Exercise boosts cancer fighting cells in your body, but who has five hours a week for vigorous exercise??? It’s a bit discouraging to picture the long term on that one!

Good morning sweaty Litsters! I thought of an idea and thought it would be fun for today. Let's share our fitness victories of the week.

So here it is, Victory Sunday.

What is the one best thing you did on behalf of your fitness this week? What was your fitness victory?

Yesterday I woke up tired and stiff and unmotivated to do much of anything. I opted taking a walk to my mailbox and back. It's about 1/4 mile total. Not much, but I got outside and ended up enjoying the fresh air in the end. When I got home I felt good enough to get some yoga time in. Fresh air does wonders in shifting my mental state.

Let's hear your victory of the week. Nothing is too small.
Had a lazy Saturday watching grandkids. After dinner did a 2 mile walk.

I worked on some house projects yesterday and I didn’t realize how soar I was until running. I had to cut my run in half today. But at least it was a pain from doing something tedious and not just pain for no good reason 🤷‍♂️

I can't imagine. I hope it's a speedy recovery from here

This happens whenever I work in my garden. I never realize how much work I'm actually doing until I try to do something else lol. And you're right, at least it didn't come out of nowhere!

It took me about half the day to realize why. I just assumed I slept oddly lol
