Sex & Shenanigans

Fun fact!
The y in ye was never pronounced as a soft Y. It was always a TH.

It's a long story, but to make it a bit short; when the printing press made its debut, some old letters fell out of use from the english language as the presses were imported from mainland europe, where the letter þ wasn't used. þ is pronounced TH and looked similar to y with common handwriting, so it was substituted.

It's 2AM but I hope that was coherent enough to make sense.
Okay, the terrifying, truly terrifying thing is, I was catching up and about to make this same point. It was all a 19th century way for British merchants to look like they were more established than they were.

But the fact I was getting ready to type this same thing scares me...

So I just took an edible that is supposed to help me go to sleep. Because I sleep poorly. The edible was made by a sort of law enforcement type person.

So, if I start acting weird, he lied to me.
If I fall asleep mid sentence, it worked.

Only time will tell.
Good luck! 🥰🥰🥰

You see, because I entiende un poco, I agree with this statement.
I fucking love Spanglish! It was one of my favorite things to hear when my kids were little. Sentences muddled between languages, or english words with Spanish pronunciations, "mamá, can we go to Taco Bell for dinner?"
