What is your most embarrassing lit moment?

Early on, I had a "call you by someone else's name" moment. The person with whom I was messaging corrected me right away and told me not to worry about it, as I am definitely not the first person in Lit history to do that.
Despite his reassurances, it was very embarrassing. Do not recommend. Grab a ripe peach and have a "Call Me by Your Name" moment instead.

I managed to have another one tonight. One of the sweetest, loveliest girls on lit had posted on the Have You Crushed On The Person Above you thread. She is a good friend, so I said yes. She realized that the person she said she was crushing on was several pages back and she’d skipped a bunch of people. She deleted her post, which made it look like I was responding to the guy that had been above her. His response “No way Jose”.

Well, I am not actually embarrassed by these, probably should be though. I was and still am a bit clueless about certain things. Ok when I came to lit, I was clueless about everything adult forum. The first 2 days I had to google a lot of things that came to my pms. The worst was I had to google BBC, as dude asking about Babycenter up my ass did not make any sense at all.

most recently Cheeky had to tell me Dom and Domme were masculine and feminine not just like European versus American spellings lol. oops. Someday I will learn all the lingo. someday. 5 years and I am still missing some of the easy ones, sigh
