The most important thing about black unrest is that nobody's afraid of it any more

In the 1960s and 1970s, many white people were utterly terrified of "black militants." This is reflected in countless ways in the media of the period. Nobody ever had such a fear of BLM or any of the opportunistic looters and rioters that followed in their wake.

Even in 1992, nobody seemed to fear that the L.A. riots would spark a general uprising or race war.

That's progress, of a sort.

Correct....the only folks still terrified are the far right white nationalists here and in society.

There's a scene in Mississippi Burning where a Klansman (out of uniform) gives a fearmongering speech about the AAs "running wild" in Northern cities.

That kind of message resonated then. No longer.

Now it's you and yours giving fearmongering speeches about "WHITE NATIONALISM!!!" and "WHITE PRWIVWIDGE!!!".... no different than the (D) klansmen you speak of.

(D)'s haven't changed much in 100 years.

White privilege is real, but too much part of the status quo to be fearmongering material. White nationalism is real, but not widespread enough, any more, to be really very dangerous.

How many white nationalists are there? Where do they live? Where and do they meet? What are their names?

Leftists love creating boogeymen.

How many white nationalists are there?

But new research from the University of Alabama’s George Hawley, published by UVA’s Institute for Family Studies, suggests this isn’t the case. According to Hawley, a political scientist who specializes in demography and the far right, roughly 5.64 percent of America’s 198 million non-Hispanic whites have beliefs consistent with the alt-right’s worldview. Whether or not they would describe themselves as alt-right, Hawley argues, they share the movement’s belief in a politics that promotes white interests above those of other racial groups.

I trust you can do the math.....5.64% of 198,000,000 ( rounded of course)

Where do they live?

According to the Hate Map, there are currently 917 hate groups in operation in the U.S. While many of these groups are white supremacist organizations (white nationalists, neo-Nazis, neo-confederates and the Ku Klux Klan), the SPLC additionally includes black separatist groups (i.e. The Nation of Islam) in its roster. The SPLC also highlights distinctions between the different white power groups; most prescribe to a similar ideology of white supremacism.

Maybe check with the FBI, they might have some of that personal information.....

Would you say the same in a country where whites were in the minority?

Maybe we should be afraid, or at least keep an eye on it. The head of BLM enthused the other day that Darrell Brooks' murderous rampage through a Christmas parade signalled the start of the revolution.

Is he right ? Is it on?

Quietest Civil War II people have ever been able to sleep through. All those countries around the world with their eternal / continuing civil warfare (like Ukraine) are laughing at us for being such military wimps with bloodless streets.

Please. Don't make us laugh with another faux History analysis.

Oh, it's true -- you can read the story in It Didn't Happen Here: Why Socialism Failed in the United States. After WWII, Stalin ordered American Communists to go underground, burrow, stop telling people they were Communists, and get potentially influential jobs in government, businesses and labor unions. They did -- and most of them got caught up in their new careers and lost interest in being Communists.

What, like South Africa? I think white privilege persists there in the sense that the whites are still the richest group -- but I don't think white nationalism matters there any more, like it once did.

Amazing how many there are in Florida.

It should. Blacks have turned our Northern cities into asphalt jungles of crime, moral depravity, and welfare dependency. The best way to predict the crime rate of a city is to look at the Negro population in that city.

Don't recall very many blacks in Gangs of New York.

If the Southern Poverty Law Center lived up to its name and provided legal assistance for those too poor to hire lawyers it would make valuable contributions. Instead it contributes to the persecution of organizations and individuals who do not commit crimes and who do not advocate criminal activity. It is not illegal, and it should not be illegal to draw attention to the problems blacks cause with their high rates of crime and welfare dependency, and to the ways affirmative action programs discriminate against more qualified whites and Orientals.

Actually Orientals tend to earn more money than whites. That is because they tend to have higher IQ's.
