Give them all tails. Identify the murderer. Anonymous, my arse.

Buttery, this is our last night of cool sleep.

Fuck sake, Harlan Ellison has died. SF has lost some giants in the last year.

They really need to put his most famous quotes in Bartlett's Familiar Quotations..

Harlan Ellison said:
“I don't take a piss without getting paid”

Harlan Ellison said:
“What part of 'I’m dying' don’t you get?’ I’m dying, I can feel it.”

Harlan Ellison said:
“I’m an artist; and should be exempt from shit.”

The Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia that kicked out Sarah Sanders Friday night because she is President Trump’s White House press secretary has a large sign in one of its windows proclaiming that love can make friends of enemies.

The exact quote by Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.displayed by the virtue signaling Red Hen reads, “Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend”

She wasn't beaten or molested, so she is fine. In no way does her treatment compare to those pioneers of the Civil Rights movement. But you guys were rejoicing about the gay couple who wasn't served. One doesn't choose to be gay, but one can help being an asshole.

Furthermore, if she was a liberal, you would be clowning her looks as you have done for female posters who don't share in your insane rightist and myopic views. Now you got your Superman cape for her.

The rich irony of you RW males.

Weird. A couple of degrees of separation on Lit. I wouldn't expect any of my progenitors to show up in a blurt thread.

Fifty years ago, Annapolis was a sleepy southern town populated by working watermen.

In the intervening years, the place was invaded and overwhelmed by a host of the transients who migrated into the area to feed at the Big Government teat. It became a bedroom community for the godawful, suppurating, pustulant abscess of D.C. They turned it into New Jersey.

That's how I remember it. During crab season I'd scoot across US 50 from Beltsville to get some fresh blue crab.
