If you don't like "Happy Holidays" in place of "Merry Christmas"...

I use both. I consider myself religious/spiritual. I don't think i"m going to wind up in hell for wishing someone "Happy Holidays." I usually use it in my Christmas cards to cover Christmas and New Years.

Are you not aware that Christians are only slightly over 31% of the world's population, so...

WTF is wrong with you, assuming everyone has a Christian holiday as part of their heritage and culture?

I was referring to the United States's "heritage and culture", which means something entirely different from yours

Are you implying that the US was founded by hhindus? muslims?
Or that the GB is primarily made of non-americans pretending to be americans?

Just because something is in our heritage and culture does not mean it's worth keeping. Slavery once was part of our heritage and culture, and a lot of other things we should be glad are in the dead past.

Me too. I often use "Happy Holliday" too, but only because it sounds better.

Actually America was settled by people fleeing religious persecution.

Of course, if you're talking about the founding fathers, it was founding fathers who said, "As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion".

Actually America was settled by people fleeing religious persecution.

And they tried to bring the Gospels to those whom they invaded, as part of their many attempts to
grab their land.
Flee from persecution and then start persecuting others with the same mo

BTW, as for the United States, perhaps you're unaware of the fact that this forum has members from places other than the US.
