Well, I tend to stay out of ones where I don't know or like the main people. There's a few in the former group, a lot in the latter.
Also, I have a really hard time with any word game that requires me to re-arrainge the letters...I have a hard enough time spelling as it is...

Any fruit can be left out on the counter and it will ripen, or over ripen if you leave it out too long. A refrigerator slows down the process.
