The 70's classic rock such as Frampton, the 80's British input such as the Police and now lots of modern country like Kenny Chesney.

So what type of music motifs do you listen to?

I had to look up the word motif...

Um...recurring themes. Hard rock. Like head banging hard. :D

What song makes you want to dance like a nutjob?

Hmm. Probably good feeling by flo rida....dunno why, but it does.

What is the song you listen to when you need to kick your ass to go do something?

In The Light -Led Zeppelin

What would you do for one night of no holds barred sex with the person of your dreams, famous or otherwise. And who is that person?

Depends on the idea of my fiance. probably between $20,000-$50,000 with wedding and reception.

Do you want a big or small wedding?

about twenty-six dollars.. it's the party that'll kill ya ;)

Do you appreciate when people register for gifts or do you feel it's presumptuous?
its a little presumptuous, but I'm lazy so its convenient...

do you plan to vote in the general election?

Who doesn't?
:D

Is it a civic right or a civic duty to vote?

I'd say it's both. The more representative the government is is fundamentally a good thing.

If you weren't going to vote for anybody who's actually RUNNING for office in your country, who would you vote for?

Can I say me? I'll say me. I get things done and I'm damned efficient.

Duty:cool:....as it is the duty of a pirate to seek out and kiss a pretty girl.

Does it really matter?

Sure it is. If it's a right, then you can chose not to exercise that right. If it's a duty, then I have no idea. I didn't think that far ahead. :D

Do you closely follow the elections of your country and your neighbouring country (ies)?

Yes I do! I love my neighbors;)
Can North America be that shinning light on a hill?

Too dense of a conversation for the mood of this thread, don't you think

And besides, I'm feeling optimistic :D :D

Are conversations about religion and politics taboo for you?

Are conversations about religion and politics taboo for you?

It depends on the person. It's easy to talk about these subjects with someone who agrees with you. Too many people who disagree disagree personally, though. They're hard to talk with.

What's a conversation that's not taboo but you find completely uninteresting?

I know just what you mean, we need to open a bottle of wine for that conversation. As for religion and politics, there is a danger in those subjects. However, I love danger. Got another bottle.

Can we talk about kissing on the clear blue sea?

Other people's business and celebrity gossip. I mean, I don't care about the neighbour and her chanting mantras at 5am (if it doesn't wake me) and I have better things to do than to follow the latest Kardashian antics.

I will talk about most things.

Who are the 'they' in the 'so they say' and what exactly do they say?

You know who 'they' are. What's that? You don't? Well, 'they' know who you are. And they say things. You shouldn't need me to tell you what 'they' say. After all, you know 'they'...Right?

Have you ever bought into a conspiracy theory? Did you reject it afterwards, or do you still think it's the case?

The only conspiracy that I ever believe in is that there are penguins in the North Pole but they're hiding.

Don't you think it's silly that we blame our respective government for complete inefficiency for the simplest of things and yet they are able to orchestrate huge, complex plots?

Ah, I love a good conspiracy theory!
Are we all pawns in "their" game?

Wait...wait...there's a good "queen" joke in this ....let me think...
"I'd rather be a pawn than a queen?" Or...ohhh ohhhh..."They rooked us all, we're all their queens"? hmmmm, I'll have to work on this.

Seriously though. They are mostly people who genuinely want to help. Think about that. Is that really who we want running things? You know that eager kid in the class who always wanted to clean the boards?

Which thread do you usually check in on first?
