Answer the Question Above You. Ask One for the Next.

Left to my own devices, I'd probably be nocturnal. As it is I am firmly second shift. I get up just before 9am and I go to bed between 1 and 2 am, generally.

What is your favorite time of day?

About 2-3am especially in the winter. Its so relaxing

What is your favorite time of year

I can’t narrow it down to just one. Probably if I had to- I’d say Ferris Bueller’s day off

What’s your go to relax before bed activity?

What’s your go to relax before bed activity?
Answer this since the person above didn't ask as of the time I'm typing. Answer: I eat 4 frozen reeses cups and wash them down with ice cold milk. If not I can't hardly go to sleep been my routine since I can remember.

Question: Speaking of bed time, what is your sleeping attire if any?

Frozen Reese’s cups… huh. Sounds yummy

Pants and a long sleeved shirt if I’m cold, shorts and a tank if I’m not.
Nothing if I’m in a mood.

What is your morning routine?

Morning routine for me is me laying in bed even after I wake up for about 15 mins slowly waking completely up. Next is coffee and kitchen karaoke, followed by a shower then the usual.

What is your comfort food?

Haven't been. Not sure I could walk it without a hard on. I'd either be slightly embarrassed or ogle to much.

Favorite thing you did this week?

Impromptu and entirely unnecessary research on cloning and (the fallacy of) de-extinction

If you could relive a moment from the past year, what would it be?

If you could relive a moment from the past year, what would it be?
I like that question. I would relive the day I took reclaimed my life outside of work. The day I told my old boss to go fuck off and the same day got a new job same profession with better scheduling.

Going to steal your question and ask but word it differently. What day this past year changed your life for better or worse?

I don’t remember an exact date, but coming to terms, that I needed a separation. It is both good and tough.

What is a special thing you are looking forward to this up coming year?

So… sports
I played on my high school golf team and was decent but never really good. Always was the 3rd or 4th man out of 5 scores that counted.

In New Jersey bowling was a varsity sport and I had a 182 average my sophomore year which was good but not great. Then we moved. I was 15.

I played soccer in high school and college, and coached youth and played adult for more than 15 years. I was very good, but had the privilege of playing with and against truly great players from 7 different national teams.

I started playing competitive volleyball as an adult and we played in A level USVBA competition for about 5 years. We played recreationally locally for another 10. I coached teams at the Y and then high school. 3 of my daughters were 1st team all state. The most inspiring sporting accomplishment I’ve ever seen in person was being beaten in a tournament by the national disabled volleyball team. To qualify, players had to be missing at least full arm above the elbow or leg above the knee. They were disciplined, skilled and incredibly fun to watch.

My best sport was rock climbing/mountaineering. I could lead 5.12. From age 28 to 45 I hiked across Grand Canyon in one day on 13 different occasions.

My biggest sporting regret is that I could run forever but never really enjoyed it. When I was 37 I decided that I wanted to run a sub-4 minute mile when I was 40. I had gotten down to a 4:08 and shattered my tailbone in a climbing fall so that never happened.

What sport(s) do you most enjoy watching?
