My house is up on a hill, so we stayed dried. But the fox river runs not too far away, and there were a lot of houses along there with a whole bunch of stuff out at the end of their driveway.

That has got to suck, I hope I'm never in that situation. I know whenver we buy our next house I'm definitely going to be looking for one up high.

I was at home looking at that lightning. I'm glad I didn't have to run through it, I wouldn't have liked going out there either.

Reminds me of a night I had in college with my then GF. There was a big storm and we were alone in the sunroom of the house I rented making out to the sound of lightning and thunder. Mmmm, good times. :D
 
I enjoy a good storm with lightening and thunder, but enough is enough.
My property is looking like wetlands and they have issued no wake orders for boating on the Fox Chain.
But, I consider myself lucky as I hear about other parts of Wisconsin flooding.
 
Well.....

now that we know everyone has come through the storms ok......who else isn't getting laid right now? And is starting to get crabby about it!?!
