Well that is quite true.

But the mere fact that she is a woman doesn't mean she has to think the same way you and I do, any more than Boxer and Feinstein, both female Senators from California represent my views.

The fact that she does not see women's issues as important in the same way I do - in the same way NOW or Eve Ensler or Madeline Albright does - does, in my opinion, disqualify her as a female candidate I would like to see in the White House.

I would want a woman willing to stand up and say she was a feminist and she was a humanitarian. Sarah Palin is neither of those things.

On the global warming thing, she doesn't think that man has nothing to do with it. She just doesn't insult our intelligence by pretending that global climate change (whch has happened many times before) is all down to one cause or another.

Dealing with the Russians does provide limited foreign policy experiance. Not to mention which, she's also the commander of the Alaskan national guard, which is currently in Iraq. I'd imagine that writing to grieving parents would concentrate the mind on the whys and wherefores of military action.

As for attacking her family, well, I won't grace that with a reply.

Then I'd counter, if what you say is true, by saying that her fundamental lack of economics is the reason that Mccain voted for a bill that not only contains pork (something he said he'd never vote for), but does nothing to help People who are at risk for foreclosure and families. Families are going to pay for the bailout of wall street, banks, and foreign investors, to the tune of about 3.5k per person.

I'll have to ask the grocery store clerk to be sure though...

There was no accounting of what the assets were in the bill.. Therefore, I'd say it's fairly safe to say that they are indeed worth nothing...

Sure it helps working class people. Saving the economy helps everybody.

Plus, if the economy crashes, then working class families will suffer the worst. A family losing their house is a lot worse than losing a fat cat losing his end of year bonus.

As for the assets involved in the bail out, nobody knows if the taxpayer will make a profit or a loss. Even so, it is wrong to imply that none of the bail out money is going to be recouped.
