The special place in hell reserved for Sarah Palin...

What a bunch of intolerant morons. You hate someone with whom you disagree who looks or sounds different from you.

Sickening.

I don't hate her at all.

I just have these silly ideas that a vice presidential candidate should talk to the press and should be able to answer some simple questions.

I can't ever remember a vice presidential candidate who has been shielded from the media like this in my life time.

Couldn't agree more.

Sarah's proven that she has the guts and the ability to stand up for the American people against the Washington elite, but just because she's a good looking woman everybody hates her.

I've seen this sort of petty jealousy at work, too.

Oh brother! It doesn't take a lot for you then.

She misquoted. It happens to quite a few. So, she used support instead of help which Albright used. Very similar meaning to help.

From merriam-webster: Help -- 1: to give assistance or support to

One could just as easily say that we've never seen a Presidential Candidate so shielded by his Party and the press that reports on him.

The same press concerned that we don't know a damned thing about Palin WON'T tell us a damned thing about Barack other that what he deems to be on a need-to-know basis.

The same party that thinks a negative comment about their candidate is racism has yet to say one thing good about Palin, or Ferraro, or Clinton for the most part.

Second-class citizens.

Bullshit.

She does talk to the press (Katie Couric and all).

As for not being able to answer every question in that stump the candidate pop quizz, who cares ?

You want a VP with character, not one who's good at playing 'trivial pursuit'.

But that tall, dark drink of water over there, the one who hangs out with terrorists and the people who scammed us for billions upon billions of dollars, those are the people I'm running with because I'm one of the 95% he promised a tax cut to. Of course, I don't pay any income taxes, but when Barack takes all that oil money for those big greedy companies and gives it to me, I'm going to be getting it sans tax...

Oh, I LOVE that man; down on my knees, kneel and kiss the dirt...
Falling down the Mountain!

INXS

Quite the reply, simple yet direct.

1) She's conducted fewer interviews than any other VP candidate and has had access to her by the press severely limited.

2) What newspapers do you read is a "stump the candidate" question? :D

3) She's llied and misrepresented her positions and the few issues she has discussed since the RNC. That is not character.

I'm sorry, but in AmeriKKKA a woman has to be twice as good as a man to not measure up!

I shouldn't worry about the people who spew their vile hatred for Palin. They're too stupid to make their way to the polls on election day anyway.

I'm surprised the thread starter managed to live through the national embarrassment of Madeline Albright and her ten gallon hat.

Nope. Terribly proud of her AND Reno.

Reno was man enough to take the blame for Waco and Madeline was man enough to admit she got snookered by Kim Dumb Ill...

They took the bullet for their man!

Only if they are Republican, after all how would you explain the speakership of Nancy Pelosi?

She was a "first." I repeat, "Hate the woman; love women..."

;) ;) As the first woman speaker, how could she fail? She's still a woman, and still behind Dick Cheney...

I guess they weren't impressed with her cowboy boots eh?

They will love her to death, and feel great empathy for her just as soon as she fails badly enough to sink Grandpa, and then they will feel sorry for her, that the mean old Republican men did that to them, to all woman, by putting her forth when she wasn't ready inorder to disqualify all women form holding office!...

I don't hate Sarah Palin. I think she came across as more likable during her debate with Joe Biden. I also think Biden won. What I am glad about is that the voters are seeing through her empty platitudes. I also think she would be a disaster as president, but I think GW has been a disaster, and the United States has not fallen like the Soviet Union fell (not yet, anyway).

1) Good ! I want a VP who's going to spend her time dealing with the problems of ordinary Americans, not sucking up to the media elite.

2) Of course. At that level you don't read indivual newspapers, you get your team reads to read 'em all and to give you a digest.

3) So she used the word 'support' instead of the word 'help' when quoting Madeleine Albright. Big deal. The truth is, the media don't like her because she isn't 'one of them'so they do everything they can to try and tear her down.
