The Big Words Game

Bigger set of tiles for more possibilities, not necessarily sesquipedalianism. We could keep the 225 squares, but allow diagonal plays as well as your word wrap (horizontal, vertical, diagonal, or all of the above if we want bigger words).

We have a friend we play Scrabble with on rare occasions. When she thinks she's getting behind, she declares "Lisa's Rules!", which involve words trailing off the board, wild card exchanges where you replace a wild card on the board with the letter in your hand and then use the wild card yourself, and turning the 'Z' on its side when you need an 'N'. Stuff like that.

I'll acquaint her with the word-wrap idea. That'll be her cup o' tea.
