Spring, glorious spring!

Damn things are blossoming a month early. I could get to like El Niño.

Don't get used to it. La Niña follows as part of the ENSO cycle.

It's very pleasantly mild over this weekend here in Blighty. :)

Here are some bulbs I planted last autumn coming up and primulas in the grass at the front of my house.

It's
FORSYTHIA
Day!
( the day of the first forsythia blossoms )

The air is perfumed with the delicious smell of lilac. Combined with the smell of newly spread
mulch, the air is thick with a deliciously funky odor.

Ah, the joys of a nice warm spring day./
Meanwhile, however,
Storm 'Katie' is currently blowing a gale and rain over my locality.

Booh!

Snowdrops
crocus and
pansies
abound.

Spring is about to bust out.
