Black Democrats embraced the mainstream liberal Democrats of the 1960's. But as that party began moving further & further into the realm of progressive neo-socialism, the black exit from the Democratic Party began in earnest! In 2016, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, & Detroit demonstrated very SHALLOW black voter support for Hillary Clinton, with the result being Trump victories in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, & Michigan, respectively!

It's true that lefties & socialists all over the globe admired Barack Obama, but that didn't stop those countries that have never liked America from holding our President Obama in complete CONTEMPT! People abroad who LOVE the United States LOVE President Trump! The same is true of people here at home! My knowledge of other countries relationship with Obama while he was president is limited but I know our National govt (which is our equivalent of the USA Republican Party) was in power throughout his 8 years, idolised him. Our prime minister regarded himself as a close friend and regular golf partner.
I also know that the British prime minister of their Conservative govt ( the UK equivalent of the USA republicans) also had a very close relationship with Obama.
I also know that Obama was not laughed off the stage at the United Nations.
The contrast with trump is huge. The international disdain for trump is universal. I can't think of one international leader who has demonstrated any respect at all for the man.
