Bots on the board?

Are there bots on the boards? I’ve received some PMs that seem like bots, but I don’t want to accidentally accuse a person of being an AI because I think that would probably offend them. They have posts in forums as well but all very short and often seem very basic.

I know what you mean. there is a hollowness with them.

Perhaps they are posters who think they are robots so they carry out their functions in robotic form.
