Any Bible stories you think are worth becoming stories on Literotica?

I used to move in hyper-religious circles. That's a big reason why I put so many compromised Christians in my stories. When I attended church every Sunday, there was no greater collection of perverts than my fellow pew dwellers! Every guy scoped out every girl while praying for deliverance and all the women subtly checked out the guys' packages. I was propositioned regularly by "chaste" and "pure" women, some of whom went as far as fondling me in public. (I'm not talking about a hug!) Back on topic. "The Song of Solomon" is a very smutty book if one understands the imagery. Unfortunately, you couldn't fictionalize it here on Lit.com because the subject of Solomon's desire is underage by today's standards.
One scenario that HAS been fictionalized from the Bible and inspired some great art is Solomon's interaction with Bathsheba. He sees her bathing from the roof of his palace and falls into instant lust. Later, he sends her husband on a military suicide mission so that he can have her for himself. Keep in mind Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived and was Jehovah's "Chosen vessel." Makes you wonder if Satan isn't the good guy after all.
I’m pretty sure God and Satan have a very complicated relationship. There is also evidence that Satan is not the only Fallen Angel leader out there and that demons, possibly angels also, are in frequent conflict with each other over various matters. God and archangels have to mediate such matters. And in at least one Bible book (Job) God and Satan are in peaceful competition with each other. I’ll leave it at that.

Time to be honest about my own religious background. I was raised liberal Christian but consider myself spiritual agnostic after studying a large amount of other religions. My personal pantheon of Gods is extremely inclusive- it makes the team behind the Assassin’s Creed games look tame. Thx to Gary Gygax and his followers for this. In my stories here I have parodied and satirized various religions including Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Scientology, and atheism. There are a lot of religious beliefs I consider unacceptable. Non consensual conversion, things which violate the just laws of the universe (bug me if you need specifics, I know my beliefs, you know yours), torture in a religion’s name… the list goes on. Fanaticism is number one, so often it leads to arrogance, hatred, and other evil things. I also try to respect people in my community, and for this reason am very touchy about religion in public. In my writings, I try to keep depiction realistic and inclusive, criticism constructive, and settle issues when I can. I consider myself a red team critic of various religions. Everything I write is fictional, never mind its similarities to real people and events.

I hope anyone who uses an idea from this discussion respects the laws of this site forbidding religious condemnation. I also hope everyone respects the US Constitution’s first amendment, however you interpret it. Nuff said about that.

To stay on topic, Genesis features public nudity in a time of innocence and a small amount of people on a boat with several animals for a very long period of time.

Thanks for pointing that out! I was raised Catholic and should have known better. It's funny how you can hear a phrase your entire life and not give much thought to it.

Another question. Jesus was a virgin birth, but I always thought it odd that Mary was a virgin despite being married to Joseph. Or does virgin birth just mean that Jesus was conceived without sexual intercourse occurring?
Joe had an Erectile dysfunction problem, that's why he got God to do the deed

The fact that she is very young and that her own brother is looking at her lustily are two spiritual points the author was trying to make. It's basically our sister just developed into a hottie. We'd bang her, wouldn't you? It's flat-out spiritual erotica that Christians jump through hoops to claim that it represents Christ's love for the church. If that's the case, Jesus is a perv!
Back in the old days they married them off shortly after they started bleeding

Me too (moved in religious circles). What church was that? Asking for a friend, so... we can avoid it. Yeah. That's it. We wouldn't ever purposefully seek out sin. ;)

Also, It was Solomon's father, David, a man after "God's own heart," and Bathsheba. Her husband was Uriah the Hittite. Don't get me started on the Hittites.
Not using that story but the struggle the story represents. We want someone who we know we shouldn’t move on.

I think Paul wrote “I do what I don’t want to and I don’t do what I want to” - writing about the struggle is relative to many of our lives.

I am new but a few stories wrote this very well.

Let’s talk about the Hittites. There is so much good sex in the Old Testament.

Actually, it's the Neo-Assyrians you shouldn't get me started on. They were such SOBs that Ninevah was burnt to the ground and by the time Xenophon got to the ruins of Ninevah, none of the locals even remembered the name of the city or who built it. The Xenophon part isn't in the bible though.

Why don't we use those anymore? Is it just because of bacteria?
Expense. About £12 each when I saw some 20 years ago, and people wanting to boil-wash their condom after use is probably pretty uncommon, given all the latex and polyurethane ones given away free.

The recent TV series of Good Omens (second season now available) plays with a lot of these ideas. Jon Hamm appears naked as the Angel Gabriel in s2e1.

My money is on wife-swapping on Noah's Ark. I mean, Mrs Noah, Mrs Shem, Mrs Ham and Mrs Japhet have to repopulate the entire Earth, right? Need to get them all up the duff again ASAP.

I can imagine Lot's daughters becoming an I/T story - surprise, Lot was just pretending to be asleep!

That story always sounded suspicious to me. The old,"I was so drunk, I didn't know what I was doing."
riiiight....

And the daughters are the ones who initiate it. Genesis really deflects blame from the men.

I mean...

Adam and Eve walked around Naked all day (Incest Anyone?)

Moses and Barbara's Burning Bush

Didn't Pharoah Like present Prince Moses his wife?

How long were they on that Ark?

The Morning Star is like devilishly handsome and invented music...maybe he persuades some Angles?

And all that's before Mary the "Virgin Mother"

Gnostic texts, including the Book of Judas, describe a very different relationship between Jesus and the slandered disciple. Would you read a love story between the two? Or would you be too afraid you'd go to hell? Lol.

Abram and Hagar.
Shechem and Dinah.
Amnon and Tamar.
Ahasuerus and Vashti.
Susanna and the Elders (apocrypha).

One tale that could offer interesting material for adaptation is the narrative of Sodom and Gomorrah. It's a story rich with dramatic tension and moral ambiguity, which could lend itself well to the creative freedom of erotic literature.
If you're still looking for more ideas or want to delve deeper into the topic, I recently came across a blog at https://whenyouneedgod.com that delves into similar debates. It offers diverse perspectives on faith, spirituality, and the interpretation of religious narratives, which might spark further inspiration for your literary explorations.

Moral ambiguity is one way to put it. If someone did an explicit version of it, you'd have kind of a fucked up porn movie. That's always a good way to attract an audience, make it fucked up in some way.

Ezekiel 23 - the story of the adultery of two sisters Oholah and Oholibah?

An entire chapter that you will never hear from the pulpit. Some activities would get this post removed... and it ends dark.

But here's a sample - Ez. 23:20
"She lusted after lovers with genitals as large as a donkey’s and emissions like those of a horse."

The story of Esther, whose beauty was renown, lying at the feet (sex) of the ruler to gain his favor and eventually to save her people.
