I think this thread is really showcasing the many different ways D/s relationships happen.
Some Dominants enjoy a submissive that can at times be bratty.
I think the difference is When they're a brat. If its all the time, nonstop, then yeah its probably going to become problematic. But if its rarely and only comes out in certain instances, I would take it as just a facet of someone's personality. What might be called stubbornness in any other situation, can be called 'brattiness' in this situation.
My wife will be bratty/smartass to get arise out of me so that I would punisher her and then sometimes she'll push more and try to worm her way out of it but that never works. It's become part of our play and it's just fun.
