Honestly. Despite the nature of this site, I came across far more regular people than the latter.
However, I bet that almost every female poster either had direct dealings with, or observed certain attitudes on the part of a selected group of male posters.


I'm hoping that this thread will fulfill the role of a safe space for female posters to share their stories or provide their own rankings.

I also expect some backlash from individuals who belong to the category mentioned. (or from their admirers or supporters)

*shrug* You know what? They're probably only on Lit when already horny as hell, which means all the blood has gone from secondary brain (the one in their heads) to *ahem* primary brain (the one which dictated all their really important decisions).

FWIW the more creeps I come across, the spikier my profile gets. Most will PM once and then find themselves on ignore.

If I spoke well of him in the past, it had to do with the fact that he's one of those posters who often sees the forrest for the trees and one gains something by reading his posts. Regardless of whether one approves or disproves of his political views (the eternal, ridiculous GB left versus right fight).

3. Your thread asks to select one, not name a group. Did you consider a poll? That wouldn't work though because everyone's 'creeps' are different.

Lance is definitely creepy, praps even creepier than Ish. Pete reads like a philandering player and things were hinted at publicly. Its uncomfortable to watch guys like that flirt on the public boards, but he does not seem to warrant the caution Ishmael, Killswitch1, and Lance do. Throb merits a mention as well.

I've not been crusading hashtag. Its fun to push people and I have had certain criteria for whom I choose to poke.

Nice to see you posting again, btw. And kudos for objectivity, that you didn't pick only people from the R political spectrum.
I don't know much about polls., but I might consider it if the thread catches. Highly unlikely though, since a lot of people have me on iggy.

But it's sometimes surreal, the way Lit. is.
I think that IRL a lot of us live in a "gender equal" society, so to speak.
And whereas in most cases Lit. reflects the healthy gender dynamic that exists IRL,
- there are other instances in which one feels as if they've been propelled back in time, in the 50's or something.

And I'm not referring to women sometimes being objectified, which is expected on a porn board.
I'm talking about an attitude where women are considered to be inferior to men from other points of view, intellectually and so on. It's subtle and it's under a veneer of polite benevolence, but it's there.
